We never thought someone would ever kidnap one of our children. On October 3, 2011 someone did. They kidnapped our Lisa. We never thought we would still be waiting for her return 2 years later. The past 2 years have felt more like 10 years without her. We trust in God that he will bring her home safe in his time.

We feel so blessed to have had so many people attend her Prayer Vigil last year and this year. We can’t even begin to put into words how much it means to us to have so many people in the community and all over the world praying for Lisa’s return and giving our family an incredible amount of support. It gives us comfort to know so many people care about her and want to see her home with us where she belongs. Once she is home, it will mean so much to her that all of you were there right by our sides waiting for her homecoming with us. We want to thank each and everyone of you for coming out to pray with us for Lisa <3.

We would like to give a special thanks to Jesse Ross’s parents, Don and Donna, for coming to Lisa’s Prayer Vigil and speaking. Their son Jesse disappeared in Chicago on November 21, 2006.

We would also like to give a special thanks to Maureen Reintjes who is a victims advocate for the missing persons organization NamUs. She also spoke at Lisa’s Prayer Vigil and has continued to support not just Lisa and our family but many other abducted persons and their families as well.
